Director of Elementary Programs

Omni Montessori School is seeking an interim Director of Elementary Programs to lead and steward the elementary program for the 2026 to 2027 school year, with the possibility of moving into the permanent role. This is a hands-on instructional leadership position. It is also a chance to step into a strong school at a moment when thoughtful, Montessori-trained leadership in the elementary will have an outsized impact. The Head of School is not classroom-trained at the elementary level, which means this role is not a symbolic one. The Director will be the person in the classrooms, week after week, observing guides, offering coaching grounded in the AMI/AMS elementary tradition, and ensuring that what is happening on the rugs matches what Omni promises to families. The school has invested in this work already through the Montessori coaching course led by Elizabeth Slade and through external elementary consultation, and the next Director will carry that momentum forward. Omni is intentionally focusing this role on elementary instructional leadership and team culture so that the Director can spend the bulk of their time where it matters most: in classrooms with guides, in conversation with families, and at the table with the leadership team.
